Meet Hecate
Hecate’s (pronounced ‘hek-AH-tee’ or ‘HEK-ah-tee’) origins lie in Neolithic goddess cultures throughout Turkey, Bulgaria and North Africa. To the Ancient Greeks, she was a sorceress, the crone, and guardian of the crossroads. On the night of a new moon, food would be left for Hecate at the intersections of three roads, the tri via. Her symbols are the black crow, the dog, the cauldron, a key, and a lock.
When the Queen of the Witches shows up, it’s highly significant. You’re ready to confront, work through and permanently heal your fear of dying and move out of the reincarnation cycle into Pure Great Spirit Identity.
When we work with Hecate, we are asked to look at our life purpose, find peace with aging, and find peace with our transient nature.
She represents the crossroads and the void every soul must pass through and become enlightened...the angelic version of their expansion. As we work with Hecate, prepare to push yourself through your fears and into the crystal clear presence of the spacious emptiness.
