Herstory vs. History

Herstory Lecture: Tracing the Roots of Feminine Empowerment

Ever wonder where the word "witch" comes from? Or why the number 13 is considered "evil"? In this class, we journey back to the origins of spiritual wisdom, beginning with the history of shamanism and the Paleolithic practices that shaped modern-day shamanism. From there, we step into the Neolithic era, the New Stone Age, when Sacred Feminine religions flourished, offering profound systems of empowerment through connection with the earth, the cosmos, and the self.

This lecture uncovers the roots of feminine wisdom and explores how ancient practices inspire and ground us today. Learn how these traditions continue to shape practical rituals and systems of empowerment in the modern age. This is a stand-alone course or can be taken as a continuation of the Chakra Basics Course or the 5 Pillars Prerequisite Course.

The Sacred has always been part of human culture. Since the beginning of time our ancestors practiced rituals, sang songs, produced art, and celebrated the awe factor of their worlds. As Human Beings we crave the sacred, we crave purpose, we crave a connection to something greater than ourselves.

In this lecture series, you will journey though the past and learn how culture creates religion. Religion means to re-connect. We will see that throughout the past, human beings had vastly different views as to what this connection to the sacred looked like.

Hi, I’m Jenny

I’ve been a Shamanic Wellness Practitioner and Transformation Coach for over 15 years. It is my honor to guide you into Divine Self remembrance and reclaim your Sacred Feminine wisdom that may have been forgotten in the amnesia of Earth Culture.

The Goddess traditions are all about celebrating Nature. So what happened? Why has nature become something we abuse and neglect, rather than something we honor. Through this lecture series, you will look into the past and learn about the earliest religious systems, their rituals, art, and practices. You will discover what happened to the Goddess religions and why it's important to reclaim them.

Life is not linear, it is circular. Through the goddess we remember that all things are temporary and change is constant.
