Welcome to our first official mythology. This myth is the foundation for the rest of the program and holds precious gems of wisdom. Chronus, also known as Saturn is one of the old Titans of Greek Mythology. These Titians were the original Gods and founded the patterns of consciousness that evolved throughout our own human psyches. Historically, many say that humans were crafted from the ashes of the Titans. These were big Gods, mighty figures of power and force.
As we dive into this mythology, notice how you may be similar to our first Titanic God Chronus. Allow the story of Father Time to stretch into your awareness awakening dormant emotions and insights hidden under the veil of your Earth suit.
This course also introduces you to the Myth of Eros and Psyche. Through this beautiful story, you will come to understand that you are always in a relationship with yourself - an "Inner Marriage." This marriage is the backbone for all our outer relationships, so it's important to fine tune our personal vows going forward.
Saturn:
The Myth of Control & Transformation
Chronus, known as Saturn in western astrology is the keystone to all the Greek Mythologies. Known as Father Time, the Great Transformer, and the Great Teacher, Saturn is a planet of restriction and karma. Through his teachings we encounter friction, suffering, and learn the most profound Soul lessons. At least this is what we learn from current day astrology.
This is only half the story of Saturn. In truth, Chronus is a very intricate and light filled archetype. He teaches us the power of surrender, of softening, and how to relieve ourselves of our self-imposed chains.
Throughout his mythology we address inner child work, addictions, eating disorders, micromanaging life for false power, basic reincarnation theory, and spiritual liberation. This myth also holds the energy of the Karmic Root Chakra, also called the Earth Star chakra. This energy center is where we store our soul's karmic blueprint for this life.
