This is the first mythology of the program and it's an important one! Chronus (Saturn) and Gaia (Mother Earth) are the foundational characters for all our myths to come. In a sense, this one of the Greeks Creation Stories and sets the stage for the dramas of the Olympian Gods and Goddesses we will study going forward. Through this mythology we begin to understand the central wounding of all humanity and how to heal. As with all Greek myths, each story is rich, multifaceted, and touches each person in a profound way.

The Greek Myths are the foundation for all astrology. Saturn is the planet of karma, limitation, and suffering in the traditional western astrology system. He teaches us through slow human lessons. In the western system, we are taught that Saturn requires discipline and acceptance of suffering in order to transcend his teachings...and this is often true. However, when we take a deeper look into this myth, we see that this equation for dealing with Saturn is incomplete. As we peer into this myth with a different lens, we begin to understand why the Sacred Feminine is so important to cultivate in our lives.
